Busy artist studio seeking highly skilled carpenter comfortable with irregular timelines and strict deadlines. Must work safely and smartly under pressure.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

fabricating work as needed
building models and prototypes
consulting about building methods and techniques
tool maintenance.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
must be highly skilled carpenters (with professional building experience)
a strong working knowledge of and experience with correct crating and packing methods.
Own transportation is a plus
Forklift experience is a plus
Ideal applicants are patient and even-tempered team players.

COMPENSATION:
This position is a freelance as-needed basis, with the possibility of becoming more of a full-time position depending on the studio’s schedule. This position is available immediately and remains open until filled. Pay is commensurate with experience.
