Studio in Red Hook in need of a part-time assistant. Great for someone who is newer to clay or loves the physical aspects of being in the studio.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to)

wedging and reclaiming clay
Loading and Unloading Kilns
Cleaning and maintaining and organizing studio space - sweeping, mopping and cleaning materials
Some bulk production work
Packing orders.

Must be able to lift 50lbs. This is messy work so best fits someone who doesn't mind getting a little mucky!

COMPENSATION:
Part Time Position. 1-2 flexible days a week in a friendly studio. $12-15/hr depending on experience
