Socrates Sculpture Park is seeking a full time temporary art installer installing our fall 2016 show. Work will start the last week of August (8/29/2016) and last four weeks.
This position involves working directly with the Studio manager and other Socrates staff to assist artists in the creation and installation of outdoor sculptural work.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with power tools and general construction
- work well as part of a team
- willing to work long hours outside
- Interest in contemporary art a plus.
OMPENSATION:
Pay is $20/hr. This is an entry level position that could lead to other freelance work in the future.
